Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Delayed to 2019, Vita Version Now Canceled

Even the highly-anticipated Kickstarter game Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night acquired a fairly major new update now, and sadly most of it’s bad news.

Bloodstained’s producer Koji Igarashi declared via a new Kickstarter update for the game that it has now been officially pushed in to 2019. Iga said that the main reason for this delay is because of feedback they received after discharging the beta to Kickstarter backers where they realized that they now need to grow the game’s caliber degree, which will take longer time than initially anticipated.

The next significant announcement is that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will no longer launch on PlayStation Vita. Iga said that the main reason behind this cancellation isalso, “largely due to Sony’s plans to stop the Vita console, finishing production of physiological copies and stopping certain online shop support features. ” That isn’t a sudden revelation but it’s but one which still is a pity, yet. My thoughts have been with our former writer, Azario Lopez, throughout this trying time.

When you endorsed the game onto Kickstarter and picked Vita as your platform, now you can select a brand new platform to get the game upon if it launches or you’re able to get your cash back. Expect an email from Fangamer shortly to assist you through this process.

Iga ended the post by saying that he apologizes for the disappointment with both these parts of information and assured supporters he and the team are working harder than ever before to deliver them with the game they want. Delays such as this are not enjoyable but when the final product reflects exactly what it is both myself and others wanted out of Iga’s come back for the genre, then I’ll be pleased in the long run.
